WebAssembly edition
The publicly distributed RaiSim and Rayrai WebAssembly edition has its own WebAssembly license, included with the website tools and downloadable WebAssembly archive.
- Academic research: free of charge, without a weekly time limit, for users meeting the eligibility requirements in Clause 1 of the Academic License Agreement. Academic eligibility does not authorize commercial activities under this permission.
- Commercial evaluation: free of charge, solely to evaluate suitability, for up to two hours per individual user per calendar week across all accounts, devices, and browser sessions. Weeks start on Monday at 00:00 UTC; unused time does not carry over and allowances cannot be pooled or transferred.
- Production use or use beyond the evaluation allowance: requires a separate commercial license. Contact raisim@raionrobotics.com.
Users are responsible for compliance regardless of whether usage is technically monitored or limited. The browser tools require no account or activation key and provide no technical time tracking. These terms apply to commercial users of every company size. Third-party components and assets retain their own licenses.
Native licensing process
Commercial users must contact raisim@raionrobotics.com to obtain a commercial client ID before following the instructions below.
An activation key is required to operate RaiSim. Activation keys may be requested via the RaiSim License Request Form:

After the request is submitted and reviewed, an activation key is issued.

Available license types:
- Commercial License (SLA): 1500 USD per person per year.
- Academic License (SLA): Free of charge.
- Trial License (SLA): Free of charge, valid for one month.
Purchases of three or more commercial licenses include a master key valid for use on any machine.
