raisin::RayraiWindow::SynchronousMeshLoadingScope

class · #include <rayrai/RayraiWindow.hpp>

Loads the mesh files requested while it lives synchronously, without finishing the other pending work.

Unlike setAsyncMeshLoadingEnabled(false), which finishes every pending import and LOD job, possibly a whole scene's, the scope only makes each mesh requested in it ready when its visual is created; a requested file that is still loading asynchronously is waited for. The rest keep loading in the background. For example, foliage placed by its mesh's bounds uses one per layer. Asynchronous loading is enabled again at the end if it was enabled at the start. The scope may outlive the window, as one kept across frames can; it then ends without touching the window's mesh assets.
